You have a few choices when it comes to buying an RV: towable or motorhome. If you don’t want to tow and you want your accommodations and transportation in one convenient vehicle, then buying a motorhome is the way to go. Among the motorhome choices you have, Class C motorhomes are worthy of your attention for a number of reasons. Read on to learn more about the benefits of Class C RVs.
Definition
As you may well know, motorhomes are divided into three categories or “classes.” Class A are the largest, Class B are the smallest, and Class C motorhomes fall somewhere in the middle. They are built on a truck chassis and feature a separate driving cab from the living quarters, with an overhanging alcove above the cab. The alcove may be storage space or an extra sleeping berth.
Benefits
Class C motorhomes are a good in-between size if you don’t want the compact van style of a Class B or the large bus style of a Class A. Because of their truck chassis, Class C motorhomes are also pretty easy to learn how to drive, too, so there isn’t a huge learning curve. The features and living quarters of your Class C motorhome are geared towards providing you with the comfort and security you need on the road, and they’re great for families and small groups.
